I wanted to show off our home made chicken enclosure and coop we built using wood that was leftover from a project and extra pieces of fencing materials we had. We didn’t have to spend a dime on anything but paint since we already had everything we needed including an unused doggie door.

When we first put the chicken enclosure together we thought we could let the chickens roam the garden but as it turns out, that wouldn’t be safe for them because of our dogs. We ended up making a large yard for the chickens and that seems to keep the dogs at a safer distance.

Flower Garden by Snappy Touch is a fun program that lets you plant seeds virtually, care for the plants, enjoy the flowers as they bloom and share bouquets with your friends.

One of the really neat features is that you are able to plant 3 different types of seeds when you first install the app on your iPhone and then as you prove your gardening skills, more seeds become available. If you don’t tend to your plants they won’t actually die so there is still time to show them some love.
